Her charges are of school age, not babies. Unlike a nanny, she does not have to undertake nursery duties. She will not be responsible for nappy changing, but for the educational development of the child. She could teach your child another language, assist with homework, prepare extra lessons for revision of school subjects, teach etiquette, table manners, sport and other activities - depending on your requirements.

Depending on her job description, she may be an Early Childhood Specialist, an English Teacher, a Primary School Teacher or a Special Needs Teacher.

Salary Range: Varies widely depending on job description: £600-£1400 per week net of tax
